Re-entry into the real world after a cruise is always difficult, but especially after a two-week nude odyssey around the Caribbean. Having just returned from our epic 75th charter sailing aboard the Carnival Pride, we’ve completely forgotten how to dress! We’ve also been spoiled by the wonderful food and service provided by the Carnival staff and now need to remember how to cook, shop for groceries, wash clothes and make our own beds again. We also need to find our mittens and trade our sandals for snow boots.

So much fun was had during this bare cruise that we find ourselves already missing a great many things. We miss having a piano player for sing-alongs. We miss all the beautiful, sunny ports with historic significance that provided an abundance of shopping and crystal-clear water for snorkeling. We miss all the dynamic live performances and comedians every night. We no longer have the option to dance nude on the pool deck to a live band or fabulous DJ in the warm nights under the southern stars. What we miss the most though is the camaraderie of our fellow bare cruisers and because of that we are glad we made the most of every moment while aboard.

Luckily, we have next year to do it all again with two nude private islands included. We’ll once again partner with the fantastic staff and crew of Carnival Pride and have a full two weeks to enjoy it all.
