Pent up travel demand at an all time high – cruisers can’t wait to jump aboard!

We all are looking forward to the amazing days that lie ahead of us – our ability to get back to our “normal” lives and re-experience the joys of travel, cruising, and specifically for us, BARE cruising!  To that point, new research is showing that travelers are overwhelmingly anxious to travel again with pent up demand resulting in sold out cruise ships, hotels, flights, and more.  The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) has participated in the 2020 Back to Normal Barometer study, an in-depth survey measuring public opinion and confidence in various industries and activities, which results have shown travel demand remains strong and availability will be heavily impacted as we move from spring and summer 2021 through 2022 and beyond.

To that point, in a recent article, Jennifer Hardy, a travel advisor with Cruise Planners, seconds that notion. “All my recent inquiries are for seven or more nights. People are desperate to travel again and want to make up for lost time,” said Hardy.

While we are all busy dreaming of traveling, be sure to be thinking about your plans for 2022 as we come out on the other side of the “COVID storm”.  Here at Bare Necessities, we can bare-ly wait to set sail aboard the Big Nude Boat 2022 and hope you will jump on booking while limited availability lasts!
