The Florida State Fair begins on February 10, 2022, and the Gasparilla Pirate Festival parade is slated for February 12, 2022. The parade has been hosted in Tampa since 1904 and the theme of the festivities is based on the mythical pirate José Gaspar, a popular figure in Florida folklore.
