Next stop: Curaçao

Known as one of the ABC islands, Curaçao is nestled off the coast of Venezuela.  The name is believed to come from the Portuguese word meaning “heart”, however, the island features many different European influences and languages, including Dutch, English, Spanish, and Papimento.

Paradise for divers and snorkelers:

Curaçao is a perfect storm for divers, featuring multiple shipwrecks in its waters.  Underwater you will have the opportunity to see sea turtles, rays, sharks, eels, lionfish, and fish species such as the unique yellow-spotted sand goby.  Some of the very popular diving and snorkeling spots include, Car Pile, Superior Producer, Hell’s Corner, Mushroom Forest, and Blue Room. Locals favor Director’s Bay and Watamula.

Its beautiful beaches:

Featuring over 21 different beaches, Curaçao offers passengers beautiful crystal-clear blue-water beaches to relax, or if you’re seeking more adventure, go catamaran sailing or kayaking.  Curaçao beaches offer great experiences for all!

Known for its nightlife:

No matter what night of the week it is, Curaçao has a very fun nightlife vibe.  The island features beaches that turn into popular bars and dance clubs at night, featuring multiple DJ sets and live music. Or if you prefer a more low-key nightlife vibe, the island also features plenty of lounges, quaint bars, and trendy food spots.

Bare Necessities is extremely pleased to be featuring this amazing destination on the Big Nude Boat 2022. The most exciting part is we will be there for the entire day, and late into the evening, so our passengers will have the opportunity to experience the best parts of Curaçao.
