The nudist community has always been there to support one another. Thanks to our passenger’s contributions, we have been able to raise more than $90,000.00 over the years for programs such as Cabin for the Cure to support breast cancer awareness and St Jude. Giving back is one of the things we love most about our passengers. They never cease to surprise us with their generosity. We have experienced such momentous times in which our bare cruisers have stepped up to give back. Another such occasion came during an auction of the cruise’s sea chart aboard the Royal Clipper. After the chart went to the highest bidder, guests continued to make their own contributions, after the auction ended. Within 10 minutes, we had raised over 6000 Euros on top of the winning bid!

The nudist community also stepped up in a big way when Bare Necessities reached out for donations to aid Club Orient’s employees after Hurricane Irma swept through St Maarten, destroying the beloved naturist resort. That community effort helped us raise over $150,000.00 in 3 weeks! And when a small island we had visited on a cruise through Vanuatu was destroyed by a Cyclone, nudists again showed their amazing generosity.

We’ve received an overwhelming response from our bare cruisers thanking us for what we’ve done over the last 30 years. However, there are simply no words to express our gratitude to the nudist community for helping us to give back. 2020 is nearing an end. And while we are sort of ready to bid it farewell, we feel incredibly blessed to be “open for business” and planning future cruises to the best bare destinations in the world! We look forward to safely setting sail with you again in 2022!
